Certify

Certification of a Passive House building is the seal of approval from the Passive House Institute. It is a label which can be displayed on the front of the building to demonstrate its reduced energy consumption and high levels of comfort.

Our certification services are offered in partnership with Herz & Lang GmbH. Herz & Lang are a German based company that have been approved certifiers of Passive House buildings for over 10 years. Herz & Lang GmbH, are a company renowned in the Passive House community for their expertise and attention to detail. They have worked on some of the largest Passive House buildings in the world including the Lodenareal project (354 Flats) and the athletes’ village for the youth Olympics (444 Flats) both in Innsbruck Austria. As well as this they have pioneered the Passive House standard across Europe and helped to develop the first Passive House hotel and Museum buildings.

Through this partnership we are able to offer a range of certification options which will meet your requirements throughout any project. The best results will be achieved if certification is considered from the very beginning and linked with our Future Komfort design or consult services. However it is also possible to achieve certification post completion all be it this is a lot more difficult and not advisable.

Through our experience and knowledge of the Passive House standard we have managed to make the certification process for a Passive House building quick and easy with a minimum amount of fuss. Certification does not need to be a lengthy or expensive process and at Future Komfort we pride ourselves on the speed at which this can be achieved. Please contact us for more options or to discuss certification for your project in more detail.
